Today’s Writing Prompt: Write About A Pleasant Moment You Had This Past Month

The world has been full of drama and turmoil lately… if that’s all we allow ourselves to focus on all the time. Today, take a breath and reflect on a pleasant moment you had this past month. The moment can entail a positive encounter with a stranger, a peaceful moment in nature, a kind exchange of words with an acquaintance, etc.

Reflecting on pleasant and positive moments like this can offer hope and help us continue to gain perspective when everything seems dire and intense on a day-to-day basis, especially in the wake of a year like 2020.

Inspiration For Today’s Writing Prompt

“The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, incredibly magnificent world in itself.”

Henry Miller
