Writing Prompt: Write a description of a fictional character based on someone you read about in a news article recently. This person does not need to be famous or well-known. Write at least three paragraphs. Be sure to have this character’s personality come through in your description.
Tip for completing today’s writing prompt: Scroll through headlines in your local media news sources to get ideas for the character you’ll describe. Be sure to include descriptions of their physical mannerisms and examples of their dialogue or speech (quotes) to illustrate how they speak, as well as descriptions of what they look like. Bring the character to life through your description.
