The world has been full of drama and turmoil lately… if that’s all we allow ourselves to focus on all the time. Today, take a breath and reflect on a pleasant moment you had this past month. The moment can entail a positive encounter with a stranger, a peaceful moment in nature, a kind exchange of words with an acquaintance, etc. 

Reflecting on pleasant and positive moments like this can offer hope and help us continue to gain perspective when everything seems dire and intense on a day-to-day basis, especially in the wake of a year like 2020.

He’ll also be commemorating Pride month by announcing his appointment of advocate Jessica Stern as a special envoy to advance the human rights of LGBTQ people around the world.
