There have been quite a few shows and books released over the past year or so that address agoraphobia and include agoraphobic characters. And I wonder how much of this has been influenced by the pandemic. In an odd way, many of us don’t leave the house as much as we once did after the effects of the pandemic set in. More and more people are working from home, learning from home, getting things delivered to their homes instead of going out to shop, staying in to binge-watch a show instead of going out to socialize, etc.
